Who We Are
Mompreneur:a female actively in business, blending family, work, and a bunch of other stuff!
Starting and growing a business is a lot like raising a child; it requires patience, understanding, and nurturing. Both mothers and entrepreneurs are dedicated leaders, detail-oriented planners, and boss babes who do what is necessary for the greater good.
At Mom Your Business, we believe that entrepreneurship is a powerful pathway out of poverty. Since our inception in 2017, we have been dedicated to promoting poverty alleviation through entrepreneurship by equipping Black and Brown women, ages 35 to 55 years old, with the skills, resources, and capital necessary to achieve both personal and professional success. Our mission is to empower female entrepreneurs, fostering economic independence and community growth. We are committed to providing comprehensive support that includes business accelerators, pitch competitions, mentoring, and events designed to inspire, educate, and elevate.
Our impact over the past seven years, Mom Your Business has made a significant impact:
- Serving Over 600 Founders We have supported over 600 female founders, guiding them through the challenges of entrepreneurship and helping them transform their visions into thriving businesses.
- Raising Capital Since 2021, our dedicated efforts have helped our founders raise over half a million dollars in capital. This crucial funding has enabled these women to scale their businesses, create jobs, and contribute to their communities’ economic vitality.
